#5 Spigen ArcHybrid MagSafe Battery Pack

So Average It Makes The Cut? Spigen ArcHybrid MagSafe Battery Pack

♬ original sound - MobileReviewsEh

The Spigen ArcHybrid MagSafe Battery Pack is an incredibly…average product. The 5000 mAh charger has a rated capacity of 3600 which is generally close to our tests. The LED indicators make it easy to check the battery levels, and the wireless charging function coupled with the pass-through charging makes it convenient to top-off multiple devices at the same time.

The magnetic strength of the Spigen ArcHybrid MagSafe Battery Pack is better than average, keeping the charger on the iPhone from most mild bumps.

From a charging perspective, the Spigen ArcHybrid MagSafe Battery Pack offers 7.5W of wireless charging which oddly enough, puts it in the middle of the pack in terms of charge speed.

For this round of testing, the Spigen ArcHybrid MagSafe Battery Pack was actually faster than Apple’s own MagSafe Charger. Charging the battery pack from dead to full took about 2.5 hours.

#4 AOGuerbe 10000 mAh power bank

AOGuerbe 10000 mAh power bank is one of the cheaper products in this list at $50. This might sound as a steal at first glance but there are a lot of caveats in this product.

First of all, the magnetic connection of the battery pack isn’t as great as other products. It’s actually missing the lower magnet. It looks like it’s there but it isn’t. Which means the battery pack is going to rotate on your phone.

AOGuerbe 10000 mAh power bank is also the biggest battery pack we reviewed and the one that feels the cheapest made. The seams feel quite rough and the MagSafe rings sit too far up on the battery pack. AOGuerbe 10000 mAh power bank looks ridiculous when mounted on the iPhone 12 or 13 mini.

However, AOGuerbe 10000 mAh power bank does have some extra features and charging speeds that makes them worthy of their spot. It had one of the faster charge times. The power bank outputs 15W’s for wireless charging so your iPhone will recognize it as a MagSafe charger and it can pass through charge through the usb-A and C ports. Which means you can charge your older Apple Watch and iPad’s if you wanted to. It also has a digital readout to tell you how much charge is in the pack.

#3 Mophie Snap+ Powerstation Stand

The Viagra Of MagSafe Battery Packs - Mophie Snap+PowerStation Stand #tech #apple #magsafe

♬ original sound - MobileReviewsEh

The Mophie Snap+Powerstation Stand is physically one of the biggest products that we’ve reviewed for this list. But for good reason. Mophie Snap+Powerstation Stand includes a sturdy, swinging stand for both landscape and portrait viewing and a tripod mount. This feature set is great if you spend a copious amount of time watching videos or doing video calls away from an outlet.

The battery is marketed with a 10000 mah theoretical capacity with a maximum wireless output of 12W which is 3W shy of what MagSafe is. But here’s the crazy thing, it’s one of the faster chargers that we tested for this list. Charging this monstrosity from a dead battery takes close to 3 hours.

The biggest con for Mophie Snap+Powerstation Stand is the magnetic holding strength. Out of all the products that we used, the iPhone came off the easiest in Mophie Snap+Powerstation Stand. This is a concern if you’re using the Max version of the iPhone.

#2 ESR Halolock Wireless Power Bank

The thing we love about the ESR Halolock Wireless Power Bank is it’s thick and compact shape. It’s one of the few large capacity battery packs that will fit on your iPhone Mini without looking silly. The bulkiness is a double edge sword however because ESR Halolock Wireless Power Bank is one of the biggest chargers on our list.

ESR Halolock is also 10-20% slower than the average wireless pack despite being one of the few wireless battery packs that support 15 W wireless charging. But it is still faster than the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack, so we guess that’s still a good thing.

ESR Halolock 10000 mAh battery pack also allows for pass-through charging so you can charge multiple devices without much of a worry.

The standout feature for ESR Halolock is the connection strength. It’s very strong. But not to the point where we’re worried about it messing around with the iPhone like the magnets found on Rokform and Peak Design cases.

ESR Halolock is the only battery pack that we are comfortable with to use our iPhone just by holding the battery pack. The size helps quite a lot.

#1 Anker MagGo 5k

@mobilereviewseh

Best MagSafe Power Bank? Anker MagGo 622 MagSafe Battery Pack #tech #apple #magsafe

♬ original sound - MobileReviewsEh

Anker MagGo has a 5000 mA battery with a rated capacity of around 3200 (as tested). That’s enough to give your iPhone 14 (or 12/13)  a decent-sized extra boost. The 622 MagGo offers wireless and wired charging via the USB-C port.

The MagGo also has a built-in stand that offers one viewing angle (two if you’re in a pinch). The stand itself is rather ingenious as it mimics the functionality of Apple’s own iPad SmartCovers. To set up the stand, you pull it from the back of the battery pack and attach one end to the middle. You could also fold the stand completely to the bottom but that wasn’t as stable from our testing. The stand is stable enough to support even the largest iPhones in both portrait and landscape orientations.

The slim size of the battery pack, coupled with the built in stand is what makes this product shine.

However, the slow recharge rates are a big issue . Anker MagGo took almost 3 hours to fill the battery. The wireless output is only 7.5 W and wired charging is at 12W so this product doesn’t offer MagSafe wireless charging speeds nor does it offer PD charge speeds.

The Magnetic strength of the battery pack isn’t as strong as others though it’s not as bad as Mophie Snap+ Powerstation Stand. Slight bumps and drops will cause it to fall off.
