By Aaron Ho, MobileReviewsEh. Tested September and October 2026.
We bought and tested 11 of the newest Qi2 25W car chargers on an iPhone. Every product claims to provide up to 25W of wireless charging to Qi2.2 devices. In our testing, the best put about 19 W into the iPhone’s battery over a 30-minute charge; two put in less than 2 W.

#1 Fastest: ESR OmniLock CryoBoost
ESR OmniLock Qi2.2 25W CryoBoost (model 2B528), Amazon US ASIN B0F6CPCZWJ

- 19.1 W into the iPhone battery over 30 minutes (average 16.0 W)
- 74.5% efficient, 25.8 W average draw from the charger
- 35.3 °C peak surface temperature (average 39.4 °C)
- Magnet hold: 10.8 N up-down, 11.4 N left-right, 12.4 N pull-off
- In the box: 58W car adapter; 40.25 in cable; adapter is dual-port
- $56.99 USD when tested
The most battery charge of the 11, 19.1 W, though the LISEN and the Spigen are within 0.3 W. It ran the coolest of the mounts that charged the iPhone and was the most efficient of the three picks. Its slide hold is a little under the average (pull-off is just above it), so with a bigger, heavier phone it's less secure. It's the most expensive of the three, and comes with a dual-port car adapter.

#2 Best all rounder: LISEN 2E7179
LISEN Qi2.2 25W MagSafe Car Charger (vent/dash) + 95W car adapter (model 2E7179), Amazon US ASIN B0FPFH7BN9

- 19.0 W into the iPhone battery over 30 minutes (average 16.0 W)
- 71.7% efficient, 26.4 W average draw from the charger
- 36.2 °C peak surface temperature (average 39.4 °C)
- Magnet hold: 14.8 N up-down, 14.0 N left-right, 13.6 N pull-off
- In the box: 95W car adapter; 40 in cable; vent clip + adhesive dash base
- $39.95 USD when tested
19.0 W into the iPhone battery, ran cool and was efficient. Its magnets are above the average in every direction. It comes with a 95W car adapter, a vent clip and an adhesive dash base, for $6.96 more than the Spigen. It was also the fastest of the three picks on the Pixel we tested with. This is the one we'd buy.

#3 Budget pick: Spigen Cryomax MagFit
Spigen Cryomax MagFit Qi2.2 25W MagSafe Car Mount (Peltier Cooling) (model ACP10511), Amazon US ASIN B0FPTKNYP3

- 18.8 W into the iPhone battery over 30 minutes (average 16.0 W)
- 56.8% efficient, 33.3 W average draw from the charger
- 44.1 °C peak surface temperature (average 39.4 °C)
- Magnet hold: 10.6 N up-down, 12.4 N left-right, 15.9 N pull-off
- In the box: no car adapter; 40 in cable
- $32.99 USD when tested
The cheapest of the three, and 18.8 W into the iPhone battery. It has a Peltier cooler, but it ran the hottest of the three and drew the most power from the charger for that charge. It has the strongest pull-off of the 11. There's no car adapter in the box; the box asks for a 40W or higher USB-C car charger. Sold on Amazon.com, not Amazon.ca.

How we tested
- We bought every mount.
- Each mount charged a bare iPhone 17 Pro for 30 minutes from about 15%, on its own cable from the same Apple 140W USB-C charger. The iPhone 17 Pro is the phone we used for every Qi2 product we reviewed in 2026, so results compare across them.
- We measured the average watts into the battery, the power drawn from the charger (efficiency) and the mount's peak surface temperature. Each mount was also run on a Pixel.
- Magnet hold: a force meter in newtons on a bare iPhone 18 Pro, 3 readings each for an up-down slide, a left-right slide and a straight pull-off.
- We measured each cable's length and logged each product's box contents and price.
- Disqualified: under 2 W into the iPhone's battery.
Not tested: use in a car (vent wobble, a hot dashboard).
