Need a thin case with great dust protection? Find out if this case is right for you in our Ghostek Covert Review!
The Ghostek Covert is a fairly minimalistic case but unlike other minimalistic cases, the corners are designed to absorb an accidental drop. The Covert reminds us a lot of the Spigen Liquid Crystal as both cases are clear, quite flexible and don’t offer much protection for the Galaxy S7.
For our Ghostek Covert review, we’ve given this S7 case a score of 3.6 Eh’s out of 5. This is an average S7 case that does a bit better than the Spigen Liquid Crystal but not as well as the Ghostek Cloak.
The Covert fits around the S7 decently and is quite rubbery so your S7 is going to stay easily on a flat surface. The transparent case is prone to a bit of fingerprinting which isn’t great. The unique Drop-Spring corners ensures that the S7 sits in your hand quickly.
When it comes to protection, the Covert isn’t drop rated; the screen protection is average the edges of the case aren’t as high as other cases. The Covert is quite flexible so dust and debris may be an issue. One of the reasons why the Covert scores greater than the Spigen Liquid Crystal is the fact that it comes with a screen protector.
When it comes to handling, we didn’t have any issues accessing the Galaxy S7 inside the case. The Covert is quite grippy but didn’t warrant getting extra marks in terms of grippiness like the Spigen Liquid Crystal did. Are you wondering what we think are the best Galaxy S7 cases? Click here!
