#1 – iLoome ScreenMate Maxx

iLoome ScreenMate Max Review - iPhone 6Currently, the iLoome ScreenMate Maxx is the best screen protectors for the iPhone 6. The ScreenMate Maxx is the only screen protector that we’ve come across that covers the curved edge of the iPhone and also is made from two types of materials. This unique feature ensures that the front of your iPhone is completely protected but poses problems for your iPhone regarding fitting it into a case. If you want a screen protector that changes the look of your iPhone slightly, you should consider this screen protector.

For our iLoome ScreenMate Max review, we’ve given it a score of 4.3 Eh’s out of 5. The Max version of the screen protector does a bit better than the regular version which is below on our list. Will it be on Amazon? Find out!

#2 – Patchworks ITG Silicate Glass (Aaron’s personal favourite)

Glass Screen Protector ITG Silicate ReviewPatchworks ITG (Impossible Tempered Glass) is our favorite screen protector. It is a tank of a screen protector, but its greatest shortfall is that only covers the screen of the iPhone.

How does it become Impossibly Tempered? Well, Patchworks chemically treats a piece of tempered glass and turns it into Silicate glass which according to Patchworks, is the strongest glass available. It sounds fluffy, but from our perspective, it’s one of the best.

For our Patchworks ITG Silicate Glass Screen Protector Review, we’ve given it a score of 4.2 Eh’s out of 5. If you don’t need an edge-to-edge screen protector, consider getting the ITG. See if Amazon has any in stock!

#3 – Sir Lancelot Holy Grail

Sir Lancelot Holy Grail Review - iPhone 6 Screen ProtectorsThe Holy Grail by Sir Lancelot is a glass screen protector for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus that is made from “Bulletproof Glass” and despite not being marketed with a certain hardness rating, it will hold up better than most screen protectors that are of “9H hardness.”

This is a thin, glass screen protector for your iPhone 6 which we like. The thinness of this glass screen protector is nice, but it does come at a cost regarding re-applicability. It is scratch proof and will protect your iPhone better than if you didn’t have the Holy Grail on your device.

For this Sir Lancelot Holy Grail review, we gave it a score of 4.1 Eh’s out of 5. Check out if Amazon has any in stock!

#4 – iLoome ScreenMate

iLoome ScreenMate Tempered Glass Screen Protector ReviewThe iLoome ScreenMate Tempered Glass is a premium screen protector. It is one of the few that we’ve reviewed that extends past the touchable area of the iPhone. It theoretically has 9H hardness, but we’re not so sure about that and depending on how you use your iPhone, this screen protector may chip quicker than other screen protectors that extend past the touchable area.

For our iLoome Screenmate tempered glass screen protector review, we’ve given this tempered glass iPhone screen protector a score of 4.1 Eh’s out of 5. It fares well regarding design and functionality of the iPhone under the screen protector.

#5 – Fusion Self-Healing

Clear-Coat Fusion Review - Self healing screen protectorThe Fusion Clear-coat is a plastic screen protector that has self-healing properties, is washable and offers decent impact protection. And it does all this while keeping the clarity of the iPhone’s touchscreen.

Th Clear-coat one of the very few screen protectors that we can use again after our review period. We’ve reviewed two other screen protectors that are self-healing which are the InvisibleShield HDX and the Tech 21 Impact Shield, and we have to say that the Fusion is much better than both of them.

For our Clear-Coat Fusion Review, we’ve given it a score of 4 Eh’s out of 5. See if Amazon has any in stock.

#6 – Moshi iVisor AG

Moshi iVisor AG Review - iPhone 6/ S6 EdgeThe AG in the Moshi iVisor AG stands for anti-glare which means it will cut back on the light reflections off your device, but that same feature may render your phone useless in some instances. We consider both the iPhone and Samsung screen protectors edge to edge as they cover the glass portions and work well with most cases. Now despite the fact that this screen protector isn’t the highest rated, its one of our favorites (not as much as the Patchworks ITG though).

For our Moshi iVisor AG Review, we’ve given them a score of 4 eh’s out of 5. This screen protector is comparable to the Fusion Clear-coat self-healing screen protector regarding score (and washability).

#7 – Thanotech E2E Glass

Thanotech E2E Review - iPhone 6Thanotech’s E2E glass is an edge to edge screen protector that that’s made from higher quality glass than the average tempered glass screen protector. Its quite case friendly, especially when compared to other screen protectors and it fits perfectly with Thanotech’s K11 bumper.

There is a drawback to the screen protector as the design of the edges is a problem if you don’t plan on using a case with it.

For our Thanotech E2E review, we’ve given it a score of 4 Ehs out of 5 which makes it an above average screen protector. It’s on par with the iLoome Screen mate and Sir Lancelot Holy Grail but scores a little lower than one of the recent favorites, the ITG by Patchworks. Get it now on Amazon!

#8 – Rhinoshield Impact Protection

Rhinoshield Impact Protection ReviewToday we’re going to review the RhinoShield Impact Protection Screen Protector. This is a tough screen protector for your iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and has superior clarity when compared to other plastic screen protectors. However, the “face grease” resistance isn’t as strong as other screen protectors.

The Rhinoshield Impact Shield screen protection will add a significant amount of protection to your iPhone touchscreen. It fits better than most screen protectors but doesn’t have the same level of scratch resistance as a tempered glass screen protector or other self-healing plastic screen protectors. See how the screen protector compares to a regular tempered glass screen protector in our screen protector test!

For our Rhinoshield Impact Protection Review, based on our time with the screen protector, we gave it a score of 4 Eh’s out of 5. This is a great plastic screen protector. It scores higher than other plastic screen protectors such as the Tech 21 Impact Shield and InvisibleShield HDX.

#9 – iMOS Solid EX 3D

iMOS Solid ES 3D Corning for iPhone 6The iMOS Solid EX 3D is a full-faced, edge to edge screen protector that theoretically uses Corning glass which is basically chemically strengthened glass. We weren’t kind to this product on our first review, but we apparently installed it incorrectly (very embarrassing for reviewers) Our second time around was much better which is why it’s cracked this Top 10 list.

The strength of the class is what makes this product shine. Unlike regular tempered glass screen protectors, the Solid ED 3D doesn’t show any chips and cracks after our long review period. However, bubbling may be an issue for certain screen protectors as one of our viewers said that it wouldn’t fully stick to the iPhone. We’ve come across that on our iPhone 6 but multiple installs on an iPhone 6s Plus went flawlessly, so we’re not sure what the issue is.

For our iMOS Solid EX 3D Review, we’ve given this screen protector a score of 4 Eh’s out of 5 which is a little higher than the average for all the screen protectors that we’ve reviewed. Get it now on Amazon!

#10 – Patchworks ITG Full Cover glass

Patchworks ITG Full Cover Glass Review - iPhone 6We’ve been impressed with most of Patchworks stuff so far, but the Patchworks ITG Full Cover glass has a couple of things that lower’s the score. The ITG Full Cover glass is an edge-to-edge screen protector that is made of tempered glass, so the edges aren’t as tough as ITG’s silicate glass or anything else made with Gorilla glass. The functionality of the iPhone’s screen under the screen protector is top notch.

For our Patchworks ITG Full Cover Glass Review for the iPhone 6(s+), we’ve given this screen protector a score of 3.8 Eh’s out of 5. It scores lower than the ITG Silicate glass which is one of our current favourites as well as the iLoome Screen Mate Max, and Sir Lancelot Holy Grail. It’s the edge-to-edge fit of the screen protector that saves it regarding its score. If you’re wondering else other screen protectors that we’ve reviewed, check out our comparison tool!

Hey Aaron, have you heard of the TEC.BEAN 3D glass protector? I’ve just ordered one since it has really good reviews, I had a cinder and it was perfect, but after it broke, it was impossible to get in touch with them for a replacement discount. The Topaz has horrible reviews in general and quite expensive so I thought I’ll give a try this one.

    Cheers,

Thanks for all the good reviews

Hello Aaron. Which edge to edge glass screen protectors work best with the Rhinoshield PlayProof for IPhone 6s Plus? Besides the topaz. I ordered from them two months ago and never received a product. Their customer service hasn’t been helpful either. So I would like an alternative to their product.

I’ve come to the conclusion that edge to edge screen protectors are not worth it with cases because any movement in the case will push the screen protector off the iPhone. The lack of support that Cinder and WinnerGear has offered is another knock against them.

The iLoome might work because the edges of the screen protector don’t adhere to the iPhone but it won’t look flush overtime. Your safest bet is to get a normal screen protector…the Patchworks Silicate ITG glass is a sure win.

I’ll update this list later today…I’ve seen enough complaints about the two.

I took your recommendation and bought Cinder. After just about 3 weeks of use, it chipped and cracked without the phone being dropped at all. I contacted Cinder of my issue thru their website and they never bothered to respond after two emails. What a joke of their tech support & customer service !!

I have since tried out those really ‘el cheapo’ glass screen for like $10 and they are completely garbage. Eventually, I decided to try out iloome screemate max and have been happy with the product so far (6 months in use)

Sorry to hear about the Cinder. I’ve updated the list earlier in the month to reflect all the complaints I’ve heard on my channels. Glad the ScreenMate max worked out for you.

hello Aaron, i recently descovered your youtube channel (subscribed) and your website, its amazing thing what you doing and to know that you buy the reviewed stuff from your own money, makes me respect you even further.

i don’t think i found more proffisional and detailed reviews in your field of products. knowing this, i thought that you are the best person to ask my next questions.

for the last 3 years i am using iphone 5 and i am buying the iphone 7 in a few days (can’t aford the expected price of the iphone 8), so i started looking for cases and screen protectors. i saw your review “What’s the difference between Plastic and Glass Screen Protectors? Which should you get?” and it helped me to decide going for the glass screen protector since i don’t dropp my phone very often( happened twice in the last 3 years from a standing hight).

glass screen protectors: considering clarity, coating, scratch resistance, protection and edges (rounded=better)

    1) what is the absolutly best edge to edge glass(including treated) screen protector (regardless of price) that will fit the Pitaka case and the Incipio Esquire case?

    2) same question as 1 but for normal (not edge to edge) glass screen protector

    3) do you recommend to go with the edge to edge type with the pitaka case?

i went through many brands like iloome, belkin, patchworks, zagg, moshi, rhinoshield and i smply can’t tell which one is the best.

thanks and advance, and if you found an answer please link the products in the answer
