Today we’re going to review the drop-rated ITG Level, Level Pro and Level Prestige by Patchworks. The biggest differences between these cases are:
In fact, the regular ITG Level reminds us of the Rhinoshield Playproof. We will add that one of these cases does smell a bit.
For our Patchworks ITG Level Review, we’ve given the Level Pro a score of 4.2 Eh’s out of 5, the Level Prestige a score of 4.4 Eh’s out of 5 and the regular Level a score of 4.5 Eh’s out of 5. Our biggest issue with these cases is that they are quite slick so they will slide around easily on a flat surface.
If you’re wondering what else we’ve reviewed of Patchworks, check out their ITG Silicate glass (which is our current favourite screen protector). If you’re looking for comparable cases, see our reviews for the Rhinoshield Playproof and Thule Atmos X4. The Level Pro case comes in two pieces and fits well together. Installing the case isn’t much trouble as the inner part isn’t rubbery. The back of the case has a smooth finish so it will show wear and tear a little easier than other cases. The smooth finish also allows the Level Pro to slide around easily on a table.
For protection, all of the ITG Level cases (even the fancy Prestige one) are drop rated to Mil-Spec 810G. The edges of the case are high enough to keep the iPhone’s screen off a flat surface; every case fits tightly around the iPhone, and dust and debris shouldn’t be an issue. None of the cases come with screen protectors. If you are looking to get one, definitely check out Patchworks ITG Silicate glass but stay away from the ITG Full Cover glass. We’ll elaborate below.
Getting to your iPhone is a cinch in the Pro as the buttons are easy to use, and the cutouts are large enough to accommodate most cables, even the massive Amazon basics cable. The slickness of the case does make the handling of the iPhone a little slicker than the other cases.

The Prestige is smaller than the Level Pro, and the leather backing gives it a bit more texture regarding handling. The leather has been treated and holds up better to general usage (it won’t show wear and tear like or Nodus leather case). Access to the iPhone inside the Prestige is the same as the Pro.

Before we end off the review, we did mention earlier that the ITG Silicate Glass was a better screen protector than the ITG Full Cover glass. This is the case because the Full Cover glass doesn’t actually work with these cases. The edges of the screen protector extend too far off the iPhone and the cases edges actually get under the screen protector.

Again, for our Patchworks ITG Level, Level Pro and Level Prestige review, we gave the Level Pro a score of 4.2 Eh’s out of 5, the Level Prestige a score of 4.4 Eh’s out of 5 and the regular Level a score of 4.5 Eh’s out of 5. Thank you for your detailed reviews! After spending quite of bit of time checking out a ton of the reviews on this site, I went with the Level Prestige!
:) Hope it works out for you!
Just bought Patchworks ITG Level case and Rhinoshield Playproof for an iPhone 6s.
The Patchworks ITG Level case DOES NOT PROPERLY FIT. Was *very* difficult to put the phone in.
Once in, the volume buttons were not very responsive and the sleep/wake button was super sensitive.
So much that so that sliding my finger over it while handling it would put it to sleep.
The headphone, charge and speaker/mic holes all are mis aligned with the ridge of the case and there's a
visible gap between the backside of the phone and the inner edge of the charging and headphone jack holes.
The Playproof fits properly, but if aren't careful and bend the edges of the case too much, the case will crack,
as it did to me between the + volume button and the recesess of the cut-out for the volume buttons. The rim
is also susceptible marring inserting the phone.
These cases could have booth been better designed.
Yikes. I'd send both cases back and ask for replacements. I didn't encounter these issues with my cases.
