Today we’re going to review the Apple Watch. This is one of 2015’s highly anticipated device and despite being a good Apple Fan-boi and staying up till 1 am on April 10th in hopes to get the Apple watch by April 24th, the one we pre-ordered wearing showed up Mid-May. We’re not bitter at all!
The physical design of the Apple watch is spectacular and the UI works better than all the devices we’ve used so far but be warned, if you do get the Apple watch, you’re going to be a little underwhelmed. The battery life is absolute junk and like all Apple products, it doesn’t play well with others.
For our Apple Watch Review, we’ve give the smartwatch a score of 4.1 Eh’s out of 5. This smartwatch does better than the Pebble Classic and Fitbit Surge though the Surge will be better for some people which we’ll elaborate towards the end of the review. We’ve got the Pebble Time and Moto 360 in our pipeline so it’ll be interesting to see how those two stack up against the Apple Watch.

In terms of design, this is one of the more comfortable smartwatches that we’ve worn. The Heartrate sensor doesn’t leave red marks like the Fitbit surge and the rounded edges of the device doesn’t get caught on pockets. The entire device wears fairly well tough mine did get scratched during my usage which is a little annoying.
There are several of these tiny things that make the Apple Watch feel so easy to use.

Any recommendations on a screen protector for the Apple watch? The Zagg is the only one I have seen in a store, and was curious if you have tried either it or any others. I don't want to scratch mine too ;)
How much pressure can the apple watch take? I wear mine to school and I'm afraid that is going to get broken. I slightly hit it against things sometimes and my friends hit my wrist sometimes. My apple watch seems to be fine and there are no scratches or dents that I can see. I just get worried sometimes. Right now I have a griffin bumper case on it. Please respond.
Its pretty tough. I bang mine against walls all the time.
