Body Glove Satin and Dropsuit Review – Nothing special about these cases except for the oddities

Today we’re going to review the Dropsuit and Satin by Body Glove. Unique features of these iPhone 6 cases are the textures on the case which significantly improves the handling of the iPhone. The textures are also a double edged sword as the iPhone feels a little too different during our usage period.

Design – These cases are pretty grippy

In terms of design, the Satin is quite thin. One of the selling features on Bodyglove’s website is the fact that it slides into pockets easily. We made Aaron wear the tightest jeans he could fine and he’d have to agree.

The Satin itself isn’t rubbery but has enough to texture to keep it on the table without sliding around like crazy. This is a big difference between another case we’re testing right now, the Symmetry for the Galaxy S7. There are many edges on the case, and they feel sharp. The sharp edges improve the handling but are quite noticeable in your hand, and we found it to be a little annoying.

The Dropsuit is larger than the Satin, and the textures on the case are much more pronounce. It’s thicker than the Body Glove Satin but doesn’t have terribly sharp edges. Handling of the iPhone inside the case is quite nice as the bumps on the edges of the case improve handling. However, the Satin does handle better because of the sharp edges.

Both of these cases are “anti-microbial” which is something we thought was funny/neat. We take our devices into some disgusting places, so if you’re a clean freak, these cases might be for you.
