Element Ronin G10 Titanium – Dress your iPhone up!

So the Element Ronin G10 Titanium is one of the most expensive cases that we’ve reviewed to date. We believe that its safe to say that this is premium iPhone accessory that feels great and looks well-built. It also offers great access to your iPhone. If well-designed products made from unique materials interest you, than the Ronin series of cases from Element are definitely worth considering. However, with all that being said, It makes your iPhone fell a little heavier and officially, isn’t going to officially protect your iPHone from drops. Last but not least, despite being 10x the cost of an average iPhone case, the Ronin doesn’t offer 10x more than an average iPhone case.

For our Element Ronin Review, we’ve given it a score of 4 Eh’s out of 5. We’ll be honest with you, we haven’t really reviewed a case that comes close to the cost of the Titanium but if you’re looking for similar products that are fancier in nature, check out the Armond and Draco cases. Design – Thin and rugged

In terms of design, the Ronin does add a bit of bulk to your iPHone. The case is wider at the top and bottom which helps with grip and the entire case feels a little heavier than a pure polycarbonate case like the Urban Armor gear. Installation of the case, though easier the second time around (watch how frustrated we are with our first Titanium here) still requires screws and the installation of a back plate. We will note that the case without the iPhone installed in it, feels a little cheap only because its not very rigid so it flops all over the place.

For our Element Ronin, the top and bottom brackets are made from Titanium and because of the finish, will show wear and tear a little quicker than other cases. We weren’t terribly worried about the wear and tear as it does add a bit of character to your iPhone.

The back panel, for this version of the Ronin is made from genuine leather and surprsingingly has enough friction to keep your iPhone from sliding off a flat surface. The edges of the cases have enough texture that it makes the iPhone 6 very easy to hold onto. Again, the case is well-built and fancy and if you’re looking for even fancier cases, check out their ultra luxe cases which involve materials like gold and wood.

Before writing and filming this Element Ronin Review, we made an install video and our biggest hassle with the install of the first Edition revolved around the buttons. Our mute switch didn’t work and the buttons kept falling out of the side of the case. Looking closely at the mute switch at the updated Titanium, we can see that they’ve updated that part of the case, making it much easier to use and the bumper around the case doesn’t come apart as easily. These are all minor changes but makes a big difference from our perspective in terms of installation.
